Job purpose
The social media manager will be responsible for growing brand awareness, engaging our audience, and driving traffic and conversions across all major social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business and marketing goals
- Manage and maintain social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content (text, images, video, stories, reels)
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations
- Manage social media advertising campaigns (if applicable)
- Handle online reputation management and community moderation
- Qualification: NCE/ND, HND, BSC
Experience:
- 2-3years Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Experience with paid social media advertising
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, etc.)
