- Unilag Microfinance Bank is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer / IT Support Officer to join our Technology and Innovation team.
- The ideal candidate will support the development of digital banking solutions and provide technical assistance to ensure smooth IT operations across the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the bank’s internal software applications and digital platforms
- Provide first-level IT support to staff, including troubleshooting system, hardware, and network issues
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve system functionality and efficiency
- Support the deployment and integration of new technologies across departments
- Maintain accurate documentation for all software, systems, and IT assets
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C#, JavaScript, or PHP)
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of hardware setup, network configuration, and troubleshooting
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A strong desire to learn and grow in both software development and IT operations
Added Advantage:
- Experience with banking applications or fintech systems
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ASP.NET, React, or Laravel
- Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Github)
- Previous internship or experience in a similar role
