Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications remotely
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers using remote tools
- Participate in virtual code reviews and sprint planning sessions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services
- Continuously improve system performance and code quality
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.)
- Experience working with modern frameworks and development tools
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization
