Job description

  • The Technical Lead, Security Technology manages the delivery of electronic security solutions and securitytechnologies from requirement gathering; design; implementation/installation; maintenance and support etc.
  • The jobholder will manage and execute projects and tasks; provide technical advice; lead fulfilment; drive serviceand operational excellence; and support business development efforts by providing presales or technical salessupport for the achievement of sales target and business objectives

Key Accountabilities

  • Operations & Service Delivery: Manage the delivery of electronic security and other security technologysolutions; oversee end-to-end operations and service delivery activities; provide technical expertise andmanage the delivery of security technology projects and services; facilitate successful delivery to time,milestone, scope, budget, quality and other predefined parameters; manage and optimize project resources;uphold service level agreements and ensure compliance with defined standards, procedures etc.
  • Business, Presales & Technical Sales Support: Provide technical expertise for sales and businessdevelopment efforts; support the development and delivery of winning proposals, pitches, presentationsetc; prepare and ensure proper costing, pricing and billing for profitability. Contribute to the developmentof new products and solutions, marketing materials and campaigns etc.; support thought leadershipinitiatives to reinforce the company as a partner of choice for security technology; keep abreast of relevanttrends and developments and advice on risks, opportunities or implications for users, clients and ourbusiness.
  • Networking, Client & Stakeholder Management: Build strategic relationships, partnerships andalliances to facilitate the attainment of business goals and ensure client satisfaction and retention. Engageand manage internal and external stakeholders for best business outcomes. Attend strategic events andpresent Halogen as a partner of choice.
  • Team Management: Manage the security technology team for high performance; foster sharedunderstanding of the business mandate and foster goal alignment and high engagement. Facilitatedevelopment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering, technology or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification would be added advantage.
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in electronic security and related experience including access control,intrusion alarm & detection; CCTV; alarm systems; real-time guard patrol systems; electric fencing; withexperience implementing IOT devices/systems etc. digital and commercial acumen
