Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Serve as a technical advisor to customers and the sales team throughout the sales process.
- Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring all technical aspects are addressed.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
- Provide post-sales support as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation.
- Participate in customer meetings, conference calls, and on-site visits to provide technical expertise and support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including product datasheets, whitepapers, and user manuals.
- Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal sales teams.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as case studies and technical brochures.
- Support the sales team in developing strategic account plans and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to address technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide input on product pricing strategies based on technical knowledge and market trends.
- Assist in the design and implementation of proof-of-concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of our solutions.
- Track and report on pre-sales activities, including customer interactions and feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role or similar position.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to understand and address customer needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience with preparing and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
