Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Manager located in Lagos.
  • The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including driving sales, managing client accounts, providing technical support, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • The role also involves developing and implementing sales strategies to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities for cloud, connectivity, and enterprise services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – lead generation, solution presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions (e.g., cloud migration, hosting, connectivity, security).
  • Collaborate with technical/pre-sales teams to prepare proposals, quotes, and solution architectures.
  • Deliver professional demos, workshops, and presentations to support sales efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and customer data in CRM tools; prepare periodic sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to refine the go-to-market strategy.
  • Liaise with delivery/support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and excellent post-sales service.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in B2B technology or telecom sales (connectivity, cloud, ISP, or similar)
  • Strong technical understanding of the internet, cloud, and network services
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
