Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision – To develop a detailed product roadmap with key features and enhancements prioritized to increase Customer value and generate high business impact. 
  • Product Development and Delivery – Oversee end-to-end product deployment form ideation, through requirements gathering, development and product launch. The ideal candidate will collaborate with UI/UX design teams to deliver intuitive and scalable mobile solutions.
  • Stakeholders Engagement: Collaborate with other key functions (Marketing, Risk, Compliance and Operations) in the Bank to ensure the product meets operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Experience and Engagement: Drive initiatives to increase the usage, adoption and retention of mobile banking products to the retail and SME segment.
  • Regulatory and Security Compliance: Design and implement framework to ensure digital mobile banking products comply with regulatory (NDPR, AML/KYC) requirements and contemporary security features.
  • Team Leadership: Lead agile product development of mobile banking product with timely delivery and high quality solutions in focus. Provide leadership to junior product managers and other cross functional teams for overall product excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s in business, Computer Science or related fields. A master’s degree or MBA is also preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Product management experience with at least 3 years in leadership experience in the Fintech industry.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development technologies, Cloud based architectures, API frameworks and Agile development.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian Banking sector, customer behaviour and market dynamics.
