ipNX Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of infrastructure-based Telecommunications and Information Technology services here in Nigeria. Leveraging more than a decade of experience, the company was formed by the divestment of the telecommunications services division of Telnet Nigeria Limited and has been in operation for many years. ipNX currently provides a range of communications and IT services to Corporate organizations within Nigeria on its IP (Internet Protocol) based communications network using both radio and satellite communications technologies. As part of its growth strategy, ipNX seeks to also extend its services to small and medium sized businesses and residential customers. In the long term, ipNX has determined that it needs also to have a strategic presence in the wire line market to ensure that we will be able to provide future services, which require high bandwidth in the last mile.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deploy enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% network and service availability per SLAs.
- Conduct detailed Wi-Fi surveys, recommend optimal solutions, and create network design diagrams using tools like MS Visio.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from procurement to installation, while maintaining and supporting Wi-Fi deployments.
- Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service during surveys, installations, and support interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance internal systems and processes for efficient service delivery.
- Provide routine in-house training and lead a team of interns and riggers without micromanaging.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories and deliver regular performance updates.
Job Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related discipline. (2.1/Upper Credit)
- Experience: At least 6-8 years experience in telecoms, with hands-on experience in network connectivity installations (routers, switches) and wireless technologies (RF, Microwave, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of computer networks and project management (Cisco Certification/PMP is a bonus).
- Practical knowledge of wireless technology installations and network equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Visio and MS Project are a plus).

- Exemplary communication skills (face-to-face and phone) for engaging customers and stakeholders.
