Position Overview:
- Responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and support of all computers, local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), telephone-related problems and the maintenance of same. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to Information Technology services and resources
Key Responsibilities
- Be the interface to HL Regional and Central IT functions and their Outsourcing Partners.
- Provide first-level helpdesk support and work closely with the Information Technology Service Desk (ITSD)
- Responsible for the user onboarding and all users’ authorizations
- Responsible for IT asset management and maintaining regular IT inventories within the Area.
- Responsible for the local IP telephone lines and all telecommunications including mobile phones.
- Responsible for the management of all non-standard equipment (hardware and software).
- Ensure that the defined processes are working in a timely manner.
- Assist with the sourcing of all IT-related products.
- Review and audit of system access rights.
- Liaise with local vendors for cabling support.
- Ensure smooth running of the data centre.
- Responsible for ensuring IT-related equipment is under regular maintenance and fully insured.
- Prepare and maintain BCP (including testing and fire drills) for the Area.
- Responsible for Area QEM and supporting the sustainability team on initiatives & targets.
- Responsible for Local Data Protection (DPO) within the Area
- Support other functions on an ad-hoc basis for all IT hardware, software and systems-related issues.
- Support Area Management on assigned tasks, presentations and special projects when required.
- Assist all the functions in the organization of the Business Events - IT and system support.
- Prepare and monitor IT budget forecast.
- Service Oriented and support Central/Regional IT Projects.
- Support all Third-Party Agents within the Area
- Provide first line advisory to ITCs within the Area
Education, Experience & Key Competencies:
- University Degree/Diploma in IT field
- 7 years' experience
- Fluent in verbal as well as written communication in English & French
- Solid Communication skills
- Microsoft Windows Operating System (both client and server sides) and AWS-Cloud knowledge.
- E-Mail-Administration knowledge
- IT-Hardware knowledge
- Network & Security Systems knowledge.
- MCSE/CCNA/AWS Certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and good interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of user application systems (FIS, SAP, CRM, COMPASS, M365)
- Knowledge in Networks (LAN, WAN) and communication systems
- Highly analytic and independent way of working
- Ability to present complex correlations in a clear way
- Knowledge of user application systems and Proficient in Microsoft programs Fairly social thus learns quickly when faced with new problems, analyzing both successes and failures for clues to improvement
