Sonia Foods, Industries, with headquarters in Ibafo is one of Nigeria's leading tomato paste manufacturers. The company is a recognized market leader in tomato paste production and other range of products namely; Sonia Seasoning Cube, baking powder, Sonia Magarine, Sonia Yeast, Sonia Dough Improver, Sonia Preservative, Vitasoy Milk Drink, Vitamax Cereal Drink. Sonia Foods Industries Limited, a wholly owned Nigerian company and manufacturer of Sonia Tomato Paste is making major improvements to its Shagamu, Ogun State factory plant as part of an ongoing plan to meet growing demand for its products and maximize efficiency.


  • If you’re creative, have a strategic mind and have experience in implementing targeted brand campaigns, we’d like to meet you. As a Brand Manager you should be able to drive positive brand perception & brand equity across Taste Enhancers of our products via 360 degrees consumer connection,
  • Managing a specialist integrated marketing ecosystem comprising a network of internal talent and external agency partners (Media, Creative, Experiential, PR, Digital and media Monitoring Agencies).


  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”.
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
  • Devise innovative growth strategies
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics


  • Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Candidates with experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry will be given preference.
  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager orAssociate Brand Manager
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Candidates must reside in Lagos.
