Health Emergency Initiative (HEI) is a non-profit organisation with the creed NONE SHOULD DIE that swiftly EMERGES with provision of funds to save the lives of vulnerable patients in emergency situations like road traffic accidents etc. These patients range from children to aged in public hospitals who can be given medical attention. HEI functions as the next of kin of vulnerable victims in emergency situations through the provision of funds needed to resuscitate and stabilize them with the payment of N20,000. Apart from the medical interventions, HEI also organises First Responders'? Training to individuals, organisations'? workers so that everyone can be well equipped with knowledge needed to increase emergency victims'? chances of survival. This training is certified by the American Heart Association HEI is totally committed to providing succor to vulnerable and indigent patients.

Job Description

  • We are looking for a dynamic Communications Associate to help shape our voice, strengthen our brand, and tell the powerful stories of the people and communities we serve.

What You'll Do

  • Accompany field teams during medical interventions, outreach programs, and community activities to identify and capture impactful moments.
  • Conduct beneficiary interviews with sensitivity and discretion, ensuring dignity and informed consent.
  • Produce short-form video content (testimonials, program highlights, social clips) for donor communications and social media.
  • Edit photos and videos to a professional standard using appropriate tools (Camwa, CapCut, Adobe suite, or similar).
  • Manage and grow HEI's social media, website, email, and digital platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance HEP's visual identity across campaigns and events.
  • Engage donors, partners, media, and key influencers to expand our reach

What We're Looking For

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills (text, photo, video).
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, Canva/graphic tools, and email marketing
  • Experience in nonprofit communications, public relations, or branding (preferred).
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and digital campaign skills.
