Key Responsibility
Content Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a cross-channel content strategy and calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals (awareness → acquisition → activation → referral).
- Own the brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all content and community interactions.
- Lead the production of key content pieces (annual reports, thought leadership, impact stories, newsletters).
- Conduct competitive and trend analysis to keep the brand innovative and relevant.
Content Creation & Production:
- Hands-on Creation: Design graphics, edit video (short-form Reels/TikToks and long-form webinars), write compelling copy, and produce memes/stories/carousels using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Creative Direction: Brief and manage the content direction and production outcomes.
- Storytelling: Humanise the brand, showcase impact, and make complex offerings relatable.
Community Architecture & Management:
- Build, manage, and grow our owned communities (e.g., Discord, Slack, Circle.so).
- Develop and execute community programs (AMAs, webinars, challenges, onboarding flows) to drive engagement and retention.
- Moderate discussions, foster positive interactions, and serve as the primary bridge between the community and internal teams (Product, Marketing, Support).
- Recruit, manage, and nurture super-users or brand advocates (e.g., a "Champions" program).
Digital Channel & Social Media Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations and growth of all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, WhatsApp).
- Develop platform-specific, "social-native" content strategies.
- Schedule, publish, and engage (respond to DMs, comments) in real-time.
Branding Strategy & Development
- Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, visual identity, and messaging across all content and community interactions.
- Ensure content is aligned with the company’s positioning — reinforcing values such as empowerment, inclusivity, growth, career success, professional development.
- Uphold content and community guidelines, ensuring respectful, safe, inclusive, and
Campaigns, Promotion & Lead Generation:
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns (hashtag challenges, giveaways, influencer partnerships, product launches).
- Develop lead magnets and nurture sequences to support marketing and sales funnels.
- Collaborate on paid social advertising strategies to amplify organic efforts.
Analytics, Reporting & Insight:
- Track, analyse, and report on key metrics (engagement, growth, community health, lead conversion, content performance).
- Use data to derive actionable insights and continuously optimise strategies.
- Prove ROI of content and community initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in content creation, social media management, and community building, preferably in tech, SaaS, gaming, ed-tech, or creator-led brands.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing, graphic design, and copywriting.
- Proven track record of growing social channels and building engaged online communities.
- Experience managing influencer/creator partnerships and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Deep, intrinsic understanding of social platform algorithms, trends, and youth/digital culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Passion for mentoring, community building, personal growth, and supporting career development.
