Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead the Creative Department and drive the visual quality of all branding and print projects.
- This role is hybrid — combining hands-on design execution with creative leadership and people management.
- The Creative Director will be responsible for translating client briefs into practical, production-ready designs, maintaining high creative standards, and ensuring seamless collaboration between creative, production, and commercial teams.
- This role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a critical part in shaping how Justbrandit is perceived by clients and the market.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Creative Department, including mentoring, supervising, and developing designers.
- Set creative standards and ensure consistent quality across all design outputs.
- Review, approve, and sign off all creative work before production.
- Provide clear creative direction aligned with client briefs and business objectives.
Design & Execution (Hand-on):
Personally design and oversee:
- Brand identities and logo systems
- Print materials (flyers, banners, brochures, packaging, business cards, signage, vehicle branding, etc.)
- Ensure all artworks are print-ready, correctly set up for production (bleeds, margins, color modes, resolution).
- Merchandising and Environmental Branding
- Troubleshoot design and artwork issues that may affect printing or finishing.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Production/Printing team to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales and Client Service teams to interpret briefs, manage expectations, and meet deadlines.
- Provide creative input during client discussions when required.
Process & Delivery:
- Manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure turnaround times are met without compromising quality.
- Reduce reprints and errors through strong quality control and attention to detail.
- Continuously improve creative workflows and internal processes.
Requirements & Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in graphic design, branding, or creative leadership.
- Proven experience in a printing and branding company or similar production-driven environment is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in:
- CorelDRAW
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of:
- Print production processes
- CMYK/RGB color management
- Large-format and commercial printing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a creative team.
- Strong eye for detail and quality control.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
