Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer and Business Support Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic design, possess video editing skills, and have a strong understanding of social media platforms in Cardinal Torch Company.
- He/She would play a crucial role in facilitating the expansion and success of our business by providing essential support in various aspects of business development and undertakes a range of business research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities, in line with established operational plans and objectives.
- This role involves conceptualizing and producing visually appealing content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Create visually stunning graphics for various digital and print platforms.
- Develop and refine design elements, ensuring consistency across all materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to translate concepts into compelling visual content.
Content Creation
- Generate engaging and shareable content for social media platforms.
- Conceptualize and produce multimedia content, including images, infographics, and videos.
- Tailor content to suit different channels and audience preferences.
Video Editing
- Edit and enhance video content to create polished and professional materials.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to elevate the visual appeal of videos.
- Stay updated on video editing trends and tools to continuously improve the quality of content.
Social Media Management
- Manage and curate social media content calendar.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into content strategy.
- Engage with the audience and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold brand consistency across various channels.
Business Support
- Provide business and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on business plans, milestones, and deliverable, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved business plans.
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies, and practices to ensure the delivery of business complies with relevant legislation and frameworks.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned Business areas and contribute to the preparation of briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
- Assist the team to complete tasks and implement business plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding status and implementation issues.
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers, to support management delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify business opportunities and industry trends.
- Analyze market data to assess competitive landscapes and provide insights to inform business strategies.
- Assist in the preparation and customization of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for business development materials.
- Support the cultivation and maintenance of client relationships through effective communication and coordination.
- Assist in managing client databases, tracking interactions, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Contribute to lead generation activities through research and identification of potential clients.
- Assist in the development of strategies to target and approach potential clients.
- Provide administrative support in scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing business development calendars.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of business activities.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to streamline communication and enhance overall business development effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in business support.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer/Content Creator
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong video editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business development tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
