Role Summary
- The Group Head of Communications, IT, Marketing & Branding will be responsible for building and managing Juremi Ventures’ brand identity, digital presence, and internal/external communications strategy.
- The role combines strategic marketing, digital communications, IT oversight, and brand management, ensuring that Juremi Ventures is strongly positioned in the market while effectively leveraging technology for visibility, engagement, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Branding:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and branding strategy.
- Ensure brand consistency across all subsidiaries, products, and platforms.
- Manage corporate reputation, media relations, and public affairs.
- Oversee development of marketing materials, reports, press releases, and speeches.
Digital Marketing & Content:
- Manage company website, blogs, newsletters, and all online content.
- Lead digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email marketing, influencer partnerships).
- Oversee social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to refine strategies.
IT & Digital Infrastructure:
- Oversee company IT systems, website management, and digital tools.
- Ensure cybersecurity protocols and data protection compliance.
- Recommend and implement new IT solutions to improve efficiency and visibility.
Marketing & Business Development Support:
- Support sales teams with marketing materials, presentations, and brand positioning.
- Drive campaigns that generate leads, partnerships, and investor confidence.
- Manage events, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) visibility.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Build and lead a communications, IT, and marketing team.
- Work closely with HR and senior management to promote organizational culture.
- Develop partnerships with agencies, designers, and consultants for branding support.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Brand & Communications:
- % increase in brand awareness and visibility (measured by surveys/mentions).
- Number of positive media mentions vs. negative coverage.
- Timely publication of reports, newsletters, and PR releases.
Digital Marketing & Content:
- Website traffic growth (% increase quarterly).
- Social media follower growth and engagement rate (% increase).
- Conversion rates from digital campaigns (leads generated, inquiries).
- Content calendar adherence (consistency of posts, campaigns, etc.).
IT & Digital Systems:
- Website uptime (target: 99%+).
- Implementation of data security measures (zero breaches reported).
- Deployment of new IT tools to improve operations (within timeline and budget).
Marketing & Business Growth:
- % contribution of marketing campaigns to revenue generation (lead conversion).
- Number of investor/partner engagements supported through branding/marketing.
- ROI on marketing spend (return per ?1 invested in campaigns).
Leadership & Team Impact:
- Recruitment and retention of high-performing comms/IT team.
- % of staff trained in digital/communications tools.
- Internal satisfaction with communications and branding support (survey scores).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, Mass Media, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications (CIM, CIPR, Digital Marketing, or IT certifications) are an advantage.
- 8 - 12+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or branding, with at least 5 years in a senior/group role.
- Strong background in digital marketing, IT oversight, and brand management.
- Proven experience in managing content, campaigns, and digital platforms for corporate visibility.
