Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive End User Device and IT Asset Engineer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the hardware, software, and configuration standards for end user devices across the company. This includes laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals across Windows and macOS environments. The ideal candidate should be experienced in enterprise device management, automation, endpoint security, and end user experience optimization in a modern, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Device Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the provisioning, configuration, deployment, and decommissioning of end user IT devices.
  • Develop and maintain golden images and deployment workflows for Windows, and macOS systems.
  • Manage and monitor asset inventory systems and maintain accurate device records.
  • Manage the buy back process of IT devices that reached end of life.
  • Manage IT asset inventory using Microsoft excel.

Endpoint Management:

  • Administer MECM and endpoint management platform using Microsoft Intune.
  • Automate device enrollment, software deployment, patch management, and compliance enforcement.
  • Establish and enforce security baselines for endpoints using bitlocker encryption, antivirus and device lock.

Security & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint security controls, including disk encryption (BitLocker, File Vault), antivirus, EDR, and MFA.
  • Support compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
  • Monitor and respond to endpoint-related vulnerabilities and incidents.

User Support & Experience:

  • Act as an escalation point for device-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk to document SOPs and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience by monitoring performance and proactively addressing issues.

Software & Licensing:

  • Manage licenses for core productivity tools like Microsoft 365.
  • Ensure proper software licensing and compliance across the device fleet.

Project Participation:

  • Lead or contribute to IT projects related to device refresh, remote work enablement, onboarding automation, and more.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve device management and user productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in end user device engineering, endpoint management, or related IT roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and basic knowledge of macOS administration.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security standards and practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
