Job Summary:

The Marketing Communication Associate supports the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies that promote the organization’s brand, products, and initiatives. This role involves content creation, campaign support, social media coordination, event marketing, and maintaining brand consistency across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing and communication plans.
  • Create and edit content for digital platforms, e-mails, press releases, letters, blogs, promotional material, etc
  • Coordinate and manage social media calendars and campaigns.
  • Support branding efforts to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with design and creative teams to produce marketing assets (flyers, ads, email templates, etc.).
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.
  • Help organize and promote events, product launches, and webinars.
  • Maintain media contact databases and assist with PR activities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor communications for insights.
  • Develop and deliver communication-materials (print + digital) : brochures, newsletters, direct-mail, email campaigns, corporate literature. 
  • Create, draft and edit content across channels: website copy, social media posts, internal communications, press releases. 
  • Manage and support social media platforms: content scheduling, engagement, monitoring.
  • Support marketing campaigns across channels (digital, print, events). 
  •  Assist with campaign planning, execution, coordination with external vendors/partners.
  • Perform research and analytics: competitor/market research, tracking campaign metrics (open rates, engagement, conversions), provide insights for optimisation. 
  • Maintain brand consistency: ensure messaging, visuals, tone align with brand guidelines across all communications.
  • Coordinate events or support event-communications:  promotional materials, communication around events/tradeshows, etc. 
  • Support the development and execution of integrated communication campaigns (print, digital, social).
  • Draft and edit website copy, blog posts, email newsletters, social media updates.
  • Monitor social media and online engagement; assist with metrics/tracking and provide recommendations.
  • Assist with event communications: promotional materials, on-site support, follow-up communications.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all collateral and communication channels.
  • Maintain asset libraries (images, templates, documents); coordinate with vendors/designers.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to inform messaging and positioning.
  • Provide admin / project support within the communications/marketing team (scheduling, vendor coordination, budget tracking).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing or corporate communications.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Hootsuite).
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Good project management / organisational skills (to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, channels)
  • Creative mindset + attention to detail: ability to create or support visual/communication assets. 
  • Ability to work cross?functionally (with marketing, product, design, sales, external vendors). 
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Understanding of branding and visual identity principles.
  • Exposure to event planning or campaign management
