Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SharePoint Online, including site collections, libraries, lists, and user permissions.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Viva Connections, Viva Insights, and Viva Goals.
  • Assist business stakeholders in defining user scenarios.
  • Configure Viva suite, develop Viva pages, and configure managed navigation.
  • Develop and configure dynamic, personalized Viva tiles enhanced by Microsoft AI.
  • Integrate existing News sites and SharePoint Online sites into Viva.
  • Perform PowerShell scripting, including writing and executing scripts for automation and administration tasks.
  • Implement modern enterprise social tools such as Yammer, Stream, and Video calls to action.
  • Create adoption materials, including user manuals, presentations, and technical architectural documents.
  • Coordinate software lifecycle activities.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing any questions or concerns related to SharePoint and Viva.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement SharePoint and Viva solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience in IT Service Management for Incident, Change, and Configuration Management and supervising security incidents/changes/configurations.
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Ability to learn, test, and evaluate new security technologies, systems, and services.
  • Proficiency in crisis management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and investigation skills.
  • Capable of self-management, self-motivation, and showing initiative.

  • Ensure all IT Global policies, standards, and procedures are followed.
  • Conduct and provide weekly and monthly checklists and reports.
  • Produce quality documentation to reflect changes and new implementations.
  • Plan capacity for system upgrades.
  • Knowledge of migration and administration tools such as Sharegate.
  • Ensure that we are compliant to Personal Identifiable Information standards, GDPR regulations, etc.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Microsoft Certified: Sharepoint Administrator.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration projects. 10 years+.
  • Experience with SharePoint framework (SPFx). CSS, JavaScript, .NET development capabilities. 10 years+.
  • Infrastructure & Security certification or relevant experience/knowledge is a requirement.
  • Other security certification - CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, GCIH, OSCP or related is an advantage but is not required.
  • ITIL v3,v4 foundation experience is an advantage but is not required.
