Role Overview

  • The Social & Digital Media Content Creator & Strategist will be the creative strategist and execution lead for BDM’s online platforms. This role demands both creativity and analytics — crafting compelling content that carries the fire of the message while optimizing reach, growth, and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and especially YouTube.
  • You will oversee the full content lifecycle: planning, publishing, engagement, analytics, and growth. Working closely with the media production and campaigns team, you’ll ensure that every post, clip, and broadcast reflects the anointed excellence of Bible Davids Ministries.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy aligned with BDM’s vision and campaigns.
  • Plan and schedule daily/weekly posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
  • Repurpose ministry content (sermons, clips, devotionals, event footage) into platform-optimized posts.
  • Engage with online audiences, respond to comments/messages, and foster digital community.
  • Launch and manage campaigns for events, conferences, and courses across social media.

YouTube Channel Management

  • Oversee BDM’s YouTube channel(s), ensuring regular uploads of sermons, clips, live streams, and shorts.
  • Optimize video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and playlists for maximum discoverability.
  • Work with the media team to create compelling intros, outros, and branded overlays.
  • Monitor analytics and audience retention to refine content strategy.
  • Implement monetization strategies and ensure compliance with YouTube policies.

Content Creation & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the graphics and video editing teams to produce visually stunning, Spirit-filled content.
  • Brainstorm innovative content ideas (series, challenges, reels, shorts, livestream interactions).
  • Ensure all content is consistent with BDM’s brand identity and prophetic tone.

Analytics & Growth

  • Track KPIs for all platforms (followers, engagement, reach, click-throughs, conversions).
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for viral content and campaign growth.
  • Use analytics to guide strategy and ensure measurable impact.

Strategic Partnerships & Community Building

  • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and digital communities to expand reach.
  • Build subscriber engagement funnels through YouTube and social media.
  • Drive online traffic to registration pages, donation portals, and discipleship platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing social media accounts and/or YouTube channels.
  • Strong portfolio of past work demonstrating growth and engagement.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency with scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TubeBuddy, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling ability with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, YouTube optimization, and paid advertising.
  • Creative eye for trends, virality, and audience psychology.
  • Video editing and thumbnail design skills are a strong advantage.
