Job Summary
The Social Media / Communications Manager will lead the organisation’s digital communication and content strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. The role is responsible for managing social media platforms, growing Women Radio’s digital presence (including YouTube), overseeing internal and external communications, and supporting organisational visibility, engagement, and reputation management
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organisation’s overall communications and social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement
- Create, manage, and publish high-quality multimedia content across all digital platforms.
- Manage and grow Women Radio’s social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Lead the growth of Women Radio’s YouTube channel through strategic content planning, optimization, and audience engagement.
- Oversee internal and external communications to ensure consistent organisational messaging. Review and approve communication materials and social media content before publication.
- Manage media relations, press releases, public announcements, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor social media platforms and ensure timely, professional responses to audience engagement.
- Analyze digital performance metrics and prepare reports to improve communication and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with management and departments to promote organisational programs, campaigns, and events, and perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Qualification & Experience
