Emergency Healthcare Consultants (EHCON) is a healthcare consulting company based in Lagos, Nigeria. EHCON focuses on emergency and critical care development through the whole spectrum of care from the prehospital setting to intensive care. EHCON's core team of trained emergency care specialists have expertise in medical education, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), EMT curriculum design and training, health policy and emergency care system design.
You are expected to be:
- Proficient in major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Youtube)
- Computer literate with expert skills in Microsoft Office applications and Google workspace
- Comfortable with graphic design and video editing skills using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Filmix.
- Have strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging captions and posts.
- Able to analyze social media data and generate actionable insights and stay ahead of social media trends.
- Knowledge of CRM programmes like mailchimp is a plus
- Equipment and hardware required for your duties will be provided. Should you wish to vacate your role, 30-day notice is required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Create and edit content (photos, videos, graphics) of trainings, CSR, and other EHCON activities that project the company for visibility.
- Brainstorming and generating fresh ideas for social media content, including visuals, videos, and written posts.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms to ensure brand visibility.
- Engage trainees to follow and engage our social media platforms and implement strategies to grow followers across all social media platforms.
- Monitor and actively engage with the audience, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
- Track and analyze social media metrics (likes, shares, reach, impressions, engagement rate) to assess the performance of campaigns and content on a monthly basis.
- Use data insights to optimize future content and post schedules for better engagement and follower growth.
- Ensure that all content is in line with the EHCON’s branding, tone, and social media guidelines.
- Develop captivating stories that resonate with the audience and align with the EHCON’s mission and vision.
- Work alongside the Director Administrative Officer and Trainers to improve marketing, and to produce high-quality content for ongoing campaigns.
- Assist with cross-functional marketing efforts, including newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking staff timesheets, office expenses, and other operational data.
- Assist with organizing and updating records, both digital and physical.
- Draft and send professional emails on behalf of team members or supervisors.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files in accordance with company policies.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, printing, and binding documents.
- Monitor office supplies inventory and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
- Your performance will be assessed quarterly. Results of these assessments may impact remuneration and benefits.
WORKING SCHEDULE
- 50 hours a week.
- Occasional Saturdays are expected.
- You should be flexible in the distribution of hours as you may have to lead calls or attend to questions after hours.
- Time to resume is 9 am and closing time is between 5 and 6 pm except on training days.
