Rapid Broadcast Network (RBN) are the operator and owner of Rapid TV (Startimes 176) and Rapid Fm 95.5 FM Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. RBN features content that captures lifestyle, culture, entertainment, sports, news, and current affairs shows and we will intensely appeal to all layers of society as the we seek to immerse its appeal among the youth, women, adults, and diverse income classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and edit high-quality video content for news, programs, and digital platforms.
- Work closely with producers, presenters, and the production team to deliver compelling stories.
- Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment during studio and field shoots.
- Edit raw footage into polished final products using industry-standard software.
- Manage and archive video content for easy retrieval and future use.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the station’s brand and broadcast standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a videographer/editor, preferably in a broadcast/media organization.
- Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Creativity and attention to detail in storytelling and editing.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of digital and social media video requirements is an added advantage.
