Job Summary
- Basic troubleshooting fordesktops, laptops, printers, emails, and account/password issues.
- Help registernew staff on attendance machine, email accounts, and required software; keep records of logins and assets.
- Report serious issues to the main IT person, assist with updates, backups, and simple maintenance tasks.
- Write simple guides for common problems and how they are resolved (with screenshots where possible).
- Update lists of devices, software licenses, admin logins (in a secure file), so knowledge is not only with one IT staff.
- Assist the main IT staff on projects so that if they leave, there is at least one trained backup.
- Assist with designs, captions, copyand reels for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
- Ensure consistent posting of promotions, new products, announcements, and events according to a weekly plan.
- Edit simple images and short videos suitable for social media, following the brand style and colours.
- Respond to inquiries or route them to salesrep, after sales and management, and note common questions or complaints.
- Check basic anlyatics (reach, likes, saves, clicks, followers) and prepare simple weekly or monthly reports.
- Note which posts do well and propose content ideas or small campaigns to grow engagement and followers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or administration.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
