Role Summary
- Responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to staff and students and ensuring the smooth operation of ICT systems that support academic and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and related devices
- Support users with email systems, learning management systems (LMS), and office applications
- Assist with ICT support during lectures, examinations, meetings, and official events
- Support basic network, internet, and system operations
- Maintain records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions
- Promote safe and responsible use of ICT resources.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, and networking
- Good troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in an academic or institutional environment
- Familiarity with cloud tools and basic cybersecurity practices
- Basic knowledge of digital platforms used by organizations.
