Job Summary
The Communications Officer will support the company’s internal and external communications while also taking direct responsibility for photography and videography to document company activities, projects, and events. The role is focused on strengthening the company’s public image, improving visibility, and ensuring consistent communication across platforms through both written and visual content.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Brand Support
- Support the planning and execution of communication activities aligned with the company’s goals and priorities.
- Draft and prepare communication materials such as announcements, updates, presentations, and simple reports.
- Support the management of communication channels, including social media, website content, and internal communications.
- Help ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms.
- Support internal communication initiatives such as staff updates and briefings.
- Respond to communication requests and support stakeholder communication when required.
- Work with other departments (HR, Management, and other units) to support communication needs.
Events, Conferences & Corporate Visibility
- Research and identify relevant conferences, exhibitions, and industry events for the company.
- Support the planning and coordination of the company’s participation in events and public engagements.
- Document company participation in events and corporate activities.
- Support the promotion of company activities, projects, and achievements.
Photography & Videography (Core Responsibility)
- Cover company events, projects, and activities through photography and video.
- Produce photo and video content for internal and external communication use.
- Edit photo and video content for corporate use.
- Organize and maintain a library of media content (photos and videos).
- Support the company’s visibility through consistent visual documentation of operations and events.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong skills in photography and videography.
- Proficient in photo and video editing tools/software.
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality visual content for professional or corporate use.
- Willingness to learn and grow in corporate communications and branding.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with different teams and support company activities.
- Portfolio or samples of previous photography/videography work is required.
