Job Description

  • As the Lead for Product Experience, you will champion the convergence of design, research, and architecture to craft holistic digital products. Your core mission is to ensure our products offer a seamless, intuitive, and aesthetically compelling experience for our users, underpinned by thorough research and robust architectural foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural

  • Define and maintain a solid product architecture, supporting the company's overarching goals and ensuring scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, user stories, and design objectives.
  • Uphold the architectural cohesiveness and functionality of all digital touchpoints.
  • Lead the development of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.

Product Design Leadership

  • Drive the product design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and market trends.
  • Direct the design team in conceptualizing and realizing user-centric digital products.
  • Drive visual design excellence, including color palettes, typography, iconography, and other visual elements, to create visually stunning and cohesive product interfaces.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of visual and interactive design elements, creating a delightful user journey.

Maintaining Design Consistency

  • Develop and sustain a unified design system, endorsing consistency across our digital suite.
  • Create & maintain design systems, design documentation & style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
  • Set forth design guidelines and best practices for both design and development teams.

User Centric Research

  • Lead research endeavors to gather user insights, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Utilize research data to refine and inform design choices and product strategies.
  • Put in place a continuous feedback and mechanism around our digital products to gain user insights.

Innovation, Continuous Learning & Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Engage proactively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, ensuring design seamlessly complements the product development lifecycle.
  • Remain abreast of contemporary design trends, emerging technologies, methodologies, and tools to continually enhance the team's skills and drive innovation.

Academic and Qualifications and Experience:

  • Engage proactively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, ensuring design seamlessly complements the product development lifecycle.
  • Remain abreast of contemporary design trends, emerging technologies, methodologies, and tools to continually enhance the team's skills and drive innovation.
  • Minimum of 5 years in product design, emphasizing digital platforms. Demonstrated expertise in user research and constructing design systems.
  • Robust portfolio reflecting user-oriented design solutions and sound product architecture.
  • Mastery over design tools such as [Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc.] and a basic grasp of development paradigms and frameworks.
